I have works included in the cigar box group show at Jessel Gallery in Napa. I painted two boxes and she has included one of my “Angel Investor” paintings. I painted “Toulouse Lautrec in the box” again. I did two of them during the 1970s. This one shows how my painting skills have improved. The other is a picture of a queen triggerfish. More of my works can be seen on Jessel’s website https://www.jesselgallery.com/frank-trozzo.html
I have work on display at Stonehedge Winery at 1004 Clinton St in Napa for the month of February until March 15th. I’m showing with John Comisky, a wildlife photographer. Stop by and visit, have a sip of wine.
“E is for Elephant” Oil on canvas, 30″ x 48″. I had to honor of winning the Napa Art Association’s painting of the month.

The Art Association Napa Valley awarded my painting of the Capuchin Monkey
the Painting of the Year award. I received the Artist of the Year ribbon and the honor of having my work displayed in the Napa Library for the months of July and August. Earlier It won Painting of the Month and was displayed in the Library for the month of May and June.
I’ve been painting constantly over the last year for the Open Studios show coming up the last two weekends in September. Also I am putting some work in a show at Copia in Napa for the month of July.
I started painting again in 2014. I’m now preparing for Napa’s Open Studios, September 16-17 and September 23-24. This is the first time I’ve been showing paintings since 1988 and I have a lot of ground to make up. During the hiatus I opened several businesses and raised a family. I am pleased to have a brush in my hand again.
